It's the job I always dreamed of — the one that actually fits, that actually feels like me. I count myself lucky every single day.

I never wanted a permanent job, never looked to put down roots in one place, and never accepted that a contract could dictate when I could travel or where I had to be. Before getting here I did a bit of everything: four years as a hotel waitress, a pizzeria kitchen hand, deliveries, a fast-food job in England, olive picking, house painting. I wasn't lost — I just wanted to be free. Free to book a one-way flight, to go looking for myself without a time clock telling me "no, you can't."
Then, in 2025, something amazing happened. I stopped putting limits on myself, tore down the walls, and decided it was time to go after everything I wanted. I took my life into my own hands, finally gave myself some credit, and started loving myself. That's when I met Sofia — and Sofialize was born.
To grow alongside the agency, and give myself one more push, in February I registered as self-employed. Among all the possible names, I chose to invent one that fully represented me: FOLLID — from the Italian word "Follia" (madness), which guided my year of rebirth, combined with the D of Denise. Today it's my compass: taking life with a pinch of spice — sunny, bold, and true to that touch of madness that defines me.
Because this job is part of me, not the other way around. I can work from anywhere in the world, with no constraints of place or people. I choose who I work with and where I'll be. To me, that's gold.
Because for years I didn't believe in myself, and no one did before Sofia. Today, seeing the results of the clients I personally look after, I'm learning a new kind of confidence: I know my worth, I know what I'm talking about, I know how to do my job. I also do it to keep learning, not just for the outcome: every client is another piece of experience, not just a job.
If you want a strategy made of head, soul and a pinch of bold madness, you're in the right place.
follid lab was born for people who have value but don't yet recognise themselves online — small brands, makers, consultants and freelancers who want a presence that truly resembles them, not a borrowed format.
I look at the brand and genuinely understand its identity, before proposing anything.
On what to communicate, to whom, and why it should matter to them.
An online presence that's recognisable and consistent over time.
Values, skills and personality become concrete content.
"I chose a tailored approach: I personally follow only a select circle of projects."
— DeniseWithin the agency, I chose to keep my nature as an independent freelancer: I don't sign every project. Through my own sole proprietorship, I personally follow only the clients who choose to trust my strategic and creative vision.
To me, every brand is a portrait: I don't change who it is, I give it a voice. I start from the person, their vision, what they want to say — never from a one-size-fits-all method.
