Which cookies this site uses, why, and how you can choose which ones to accept.

Cookies are small text files that the sites you visit send to your device, where they're stored and then sent back to those same sites on your next visit. Some are essential for the site to work, others are used to gather usage statistics or to show more relevant advertising.
This policy is written to meet the requirements of the EU ePrivacy rules and GDPR, and of the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, which apply the same core principle: no non-essential cookie is set before you've given your consent.
On your first visit you're shown a banner that lets you: accept all cookies, reject the non-essential ones, or customise your choice category by category. Your choice is remembered on your device for about 6 months, after which you'll be asked again. You can change your mind at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of every page.
If you reject non-essential cookies, technical cookies stay active (they only remember your choice), while Google Analytics and Meta Pixel are not loaded and no data is sent to Google or Meta for those purposes.
Essential for the site's basic functioning. These don't require consent.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| follidlab_cookie_consent | Stores your cookie preferences (localStorage — not a cookie in the strict sense, but serves the same purpose) | ~6 months |
Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited): collects aggregated, anonymised data (truncated IP) about how the site is used — pages visited, traffic sources, visit duration. We don't use this data to identify you personally.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes users, in statistical form | 13 months |
| _ga_* | Maintains Google Analytics 4 session state | 13 months |
Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited): measures the effectiveness of Instagram/Facebook advertising campaigns and allows ads to be shown to people who've already visited the site (retargeting).
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Identifies browsers to deliver targeted advertising (Meta) | 3 months |
| fr | Advertising and campaign measurement (set on facebook.com) | 3 months |
Google and Meta act as independent controllers for the data collected through their respective tools, under their own policies: Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy.
You can change or withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of this or any other page on the site. You can also delete cookies already set directly from your browser's settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — every browser has a dedicated privacy section in its settings).
For all other details on how your personal data is handled, see the Privacy Policy.
